Young Scientist Travel Grant
The Department of Marine Biology, Microbiology & Biochemistry, CUSAT, in association with CSIR-IITR and MoES-NCCR, is pleased to announce the Young Scientist Travel Grant for Research Scholars and Post-Doctoral Fellows. This grant is designed to help cover travel expenses for eligible attendees, enabling them to attend the National Conference on Marine Pollution and Ecotoxicology (NCMPE-24), held from September 25-27, 2024, in Kochi, Kerala.
Eligibility Criteria:
Open to Research Scholars and Post-Doctoral Fellows actively engaged in research in marine pollution, ecotoxicology, or related fields.
Applicants must be below 35 years of age as of the conference date.
The applicant must submit an abstract to NCMPE 24 and have it accepted for either oral or poster presentation.
Grant Benefits: Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to the equivalent cost of a round-trip 3-Tier AC train fare.
Selection Criteria:
Travel grants will be awarded based on a set of criteria determined by the conference committee.
The decision made by the conference secretariat is final and cannot be contested.
Award Notification: Only candidates who meet the criteria will be selected and notified of their grant award.
Grant Disbursement:
Selected candidates will receive reimbursement for travel expenses directly to their bank account.
To process the reimbursement, candidates must submit their travel tickets and bank account details at the travel desk, located at the conference venue's registration counter.
Note:- While filling application candidates are required to upload a brief CV (maximum 2 pages) highlighting their research achievements and publications.
